God, I used to throw on this record-the cut with that crazy cowbell break-at parties, and everyone would ask: "Whoah, what is THAT?" I can't remember how much I eventually sold the record for...
from that 1st clavinet chord i knew i would dig this!
hey dr. johnny fever! i would like to ask if these illustrations are done by you?
Funny thing is, my emphasis for my BFA was in drawing and painting. If I had painted that, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have graduated. The cover art is credited to Michele Bermingham. I have no idea who that is, perhaps a girlfriend of a band member????????
Hi,
I'm just starting a new blog of hard to find records of jazz:

And I'm wondering if you will have any objection in appearing in my blogroll.
By the way, awesome blog yours!

Great one Doc--glad to see that you were able to check one off the "Most Wanted" list.
Nice one -- like so much on your brilliant blog. Now if I could only locate that vital link... Am I missing something?
cheers from Tokyo

OK, last time. Check Joe Pass "Better Days" for the link. It's stated in the post but apparently it's easy to miss. Enjoy!!
I totally overlooked that... thank you indeed - for getting back on that so fast; and for all the great posts. Many thanks to Vpex as well.
Greatly appreciated!
Thanks doctor! After downloading the album i ordered it from their website.
A great addition to my collection. You, Sir, have a taste & knowledge of music, that is just superbe!
Thanks.
really enjoying this one, I'd heard of it but it sounded a bit hyped to me, it actually lives up to its rep. thanks!
Dear Dr.: Thanks forever and ever!!! What a post!!! Thanks to Vpex, too... have a nice day as I´ll have a good rest of the year with this, all because of you. Peace and respects.
