Here goes my 1st official post. This one goes out to my friends at "My Favourite Sound" who consistently post some of the best music on the net and have been very unjustly ridiculed for it lately. Hope you guys enjoy this very scarce jazz-funk classic out of Detroit circa 1974. This is Eddie's first official solo release on the small "Jazz Masters" label and he is backed up here by the group "Mixed Bag". The label calls this music "Juzz". "Juzz is for everybody". Not to Jazzy for R&B Fans, and not too "Rockish" for Jazz Fans." Whatever you wanna call it, it's funky as hell and that's all that really needs to be said..................Enjoy

P.S. There are 2 different covers for this LP, I have both but need to scan the other which is actually quite a bit more dope from a graphic design perspective but also a bit more dog eared than relatively minty one above.

Hey guys, thanks for checking me out. Wish I would of picked something you didn't already have there before. My bad, must of missed that one. I don't know, maybe my rip is an upgrade for u, the vinyl was super clean and ripped 24bit then converted to 320mp3. Anyways, thanks for coming by and lending the support. Is it ok to put a link to "my favourite sound" on my blog. Let me know. Peace.......

Hi Johnny. Been looking for this one for some time but file is corrupt i'm afraid - it won't unzip / decompress - too bad! any chance for a re-up?

cheers

this is different than the mixed bag album on tribe, i guess. have you heard that one? it is excellent. they do a jazzier version of "zaius", the great composition from the russ "see the light" album.

Hey GeeFlat, just tested the file and it unzipped fine for me. Are u on a Mac or PC? I usually stuff the files in zip form because I know its a little easier for people of both formats to unzip. I use Stuffit or Unrarx to unzip on my Mac and it work for about 95% of all files. Here's a link to UnRarX which is a free utility that works most every time. http://www.unrarx.com/ Hope that helps out. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure I saw someone who posted a CD rip of the UK repress of it but can't seem to remember who did it. If I find it, I'll leave the link here for you.

Peace............ Dr. Fever
